Aurora Savira

It's been awhile since I have blogged, but now I'm back! Horaah!

We all now that we are facing a recession right now: even the Second Life economy. It is reasonable to save and spend all our linden to cheaper apparel, accessories and to all our needs. However, we should not limit ourselves to xstreet looking for freebies or anything that is shabby rather than to find something more economical,  low-cost and stylish in-world.

I have to admit that I am one of the people who loves to find fabulous and well-made freebie designs in xstreet. Up until recently, I found different stores that do not sell beyond the 300L price tag and there are a lot of them! Not only do they sell for a cheaper price, they are also fabulous and immensely in vogue. So yes, you have my word on it: cheap but fabulous.

Most women in Second Life are in-love with the big, poofy dresses and the slim, sequinted long dresses worn in ballrooms or any formal occasions. I have been to the ballrooms and seen women wear Victoria V's bridal dresses, Bliss Coutures' poofy dresses, and Nicky Ree's slim dresses. We all love those brands because of their glamorous, high-priced and detailed outfits. Although many could not afford those dresses and most women often turn to poorly-made, freebie dresses that do not look equally alluring to the brands mentioned earlier.

However, I have found a boutique that sells reasonable haute- couture outfits that do not go beyond the 500L price line. Therefore, if you have a budget plan, I recommend you to stop by a shop named "Shouted Couture."

I have attached several pictures that describes what I mean about fabulous buy for a cheaper price.

Consuelo Black

This caught my eye when I first came in the store. I love the detail on this medieval- inspired gown with the flower embroidery around the V-shaped neckline.
Price: 250L

Macrame Rosso

When I found this dress, it rang a bell... This resembled Halle Berry's Elie Saab -winning dress in the 74th Academy Awards when she won the Best Actress Oscar of 2002.
Price: 250L

Elizabeth

What's striking about the collection is that most of them has sophistication and the dominant features of the Italian style. I'd have to say that this dress reminded me of Oscar de la Renta's creations. It is very detailed and highly sophisticated.
Price: 250L

Rita

Another highly detailed and vibrant dress. I love this dress because anyone can wear as a summer dress or for a fancy occasion such as a tea party. It is very versatile with any occasion whether it could be formal or casual.
Price: 250L

Gold Petal

This outfit is one of the most expensive dresses in the collection. The golden color is head-turning and it catches anyone's attention; I know for sure that I'm one of them.
Price: 450L

Summer Sun

This sundress has an elegant detailed back - corset. The color of the dress is vibrant and it's perfect as a sundress in taking walks out to the park.
Price: 125L

Sensual

It's name speaks for it. I would have to agree that this is sensual and at the same time, chic. The black lace lingerie emphasized a sexier look, while the slim dress gives off an elite impression.
Price: 250L

White Sheela

Haute- Couture does not only apply to formal wear, but it's also seen in lingerie and any sensual outfits. This outfit has an intricate bodice with a metallic color. The color makes the outfit a bit more realistic especially the silky cloth that drapes down from the pelvis to the legs.
Price: 125

Those are some of the beautiful outfits that stood out in the store based on my personal preference. However, if you want to see the store and judge it yourself, I urge you to teleport now! :)
